A horizon’s path from AI draft to published interpretation

A single horizon moves through drafting, editing, review and consistency checks, and every model that depends on it is updated in turn.

01

The challenge

Interpretations change hands many times before they are trusted. Without a clear path, it is hard to know which version is approved and which models still use an old one.

02

How GeoDeep handles it

  1. 01

GeoDeep AI produces a draft of the horizon, marked with its model version and confidence.

  2. 02

The interpreter edits the draft in a personal branch, and every change is recorded.

  3. 03

A review request goes to the senior geophysicist, who compares the versions side by side and signs off digitally.

  4. 04

The geologist checks the horizon for consistency with the wells and the structural framework.

  5. 05

The horizon is published. The structural model and volumetrics that depend on it are marked out of date and queued for recalculation.

03

What changes

  • Everyone knows which version is approved and who approved it.
  • Downstream models never silently rely on superseded interpretations.
  • The full history of the horizon is available for any future review.

Pilot

Start with a pilot on your own data.

We set up a secure pilot environment for you and load one of your 3D surveys together with its wells. Your own experts then judge the results against the way you work today.
